hi just wondering if u have any advice on how to find your signatures? like signature color, signature scents, signature jewelry etc
Tumblr media
✧・゜: finding your signatures・゜✧:・゜
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
omg i love this question so much! finding your signature elements is literally one of the most fun parts of building your personal aesthetic. it's like creating your own character design for the main character (you!).
i spent years feeling like i was just collecting random pretty things without any real cohesion. then i realized that having intentional signatures makes you memorable and gives you this sense of identity that feels so grounding. so here's my process for finding yours!
⋆.ೃ࿔:・ signature color ・:࿔ೃ.⋆
this one's actually more intuitive than people make it seem! start by noticing:
what color do you naturally gravitate toward when shopping?
which color consistently makes you feel confident when you wear it?
what color are most of your favorite items already?
which color feels like "you" even if you can't explain why?
for me it's a specific shade of light pink (surprise surprise). i noticed i kept buying everything in this color without even realizing it. your signature doesn't have to be just one color though! it could be a palette of 2-3 colors that work together.
pro tip: once you find it, add little touches of your color everywhere - phone case, water bottle, bookmarks. it creates this subtle cohesion in your life that feels so satisfying.
⋆.ೃ࿔:・ signature scent ・:࿔ೃ.⋆
this one is so powerful because scent ties directly to memory! people will literally think of you when they smell your signature scent elsewhere.
get sample sizes before committing (i wasted so much money before learning this)
wear a potential signature for at least a week straight
notice which one you keep reaching for without thinking
consider different concentrations (perfume, lotion, hair mist) for layering
my signature is a vanilla sandalwood that's slightly sweet but not too young feeling. i have it in everything from perfume to hand cream so the scent follows me subtly.
⋆.ೃ࿔:・ signature jewelry ・:࿔ೃ.⋆
the key with signature jewelry is choosing pieces you can wear literally every day without getting tired of them:
what pieces do you feel naked without?
which ones go with everything you wear?
what has personal meaning beyond just looking pretty?
i have these tiny star earrings i never take out and a delicate chain bracelet with my initial. they're subtle enough to go with everything but still distinctly "me."
⋆.ೃ࿔:・ other signature elements ・:࿔ೃ.⋆
there are so many other fun signatures you can develop:
a signature nail color or style
a signature accessory (headband, hair clip, specific bag)
a signature drink order (baristas at my local café start making mine when i walk in)
a signature makeup look (for me it's barely-there makeup with winged liner, or douyin makeup)
a signature phrase or greeting
the best signatures evolve naturally and feel effortless. if you're forcing it, it's probably not right for you! and remember signatures can evolve as you do - mine have shifted slightly over the years while still maintaining their essence.
what signature elements are you drawn to already? i bet you have some emerging ones without even realizing it!
xoxo, mindy 🤍

To everyone saying they didn't like the last chapter, do you know why suddenly adachitoka announced the ending when none of it felt complete at the time?
I mean i definitely dont know for sure, but its important to realize its likely the manga sales, they dropped off at some point so adachitoka had to wrap it up and not only that they have a many health issues cause hiatus over the years.
I know a majority of the fandom on tumblr reads fastmoons scans, i know i do and i know the economy is shit and lots of us cant even buy the volumes in support even so im not blaming anyone.
But you gotta cut the authors some slack here, they probably had so much left to tell and write and they probably wanted to explain the plotholes and fill in more info.
But because it was the end..they wanted to end it in a happy way and i believe thats just fine, i just finished reading it and im content with how it ended considering the circumstances.
Its okay to not like the ending i guess, but dont let the reason why be because of something the authors couldnt control.

So based on what I've read so far for primers on chaos magic, I recommend starting with Condensed Chaos: An Introduction To Chaos Magic by Phil Hine, THEN getting the updated and revised and expanded editions of Liber Null and Psychonaut and also Liber Kaos by Peter J Carroll.
Caveats for Condensed Chaos:
misuse of "shaman" and similar terms (none of what is brought up relates to Tungusic peoples)
written by a neurotypical white English bisexual cisgender man, and boy howdy is the neurotypical part obvious in several areas
inconsistent capitalization for concepts, and also inconsistent comma usage
definitely a product of its time and not decolonized, which is a larger problem in chaos magic as a whole
Recommended Audience for Condensed Chaos:
pop culture mages/pagans
those interested in servitors, sigils, or chaos magic more broadly
technology mages
those who want to explore Jungian psychology in magic
As for Peter J Carroll's works... Basically the same as the above, yet also way more difficult to read if you're not used to old grimoire-esque language and writing styles.
I'd still genuinely recommend all three of these, just with the reminder to raise an eyebrow at some of the claims made.
The books I still have to read on chaos magic that I currently own are Hands-On Chaos Magic: Reality Manipulation Through The Ovayki Current by Andrieh Vitimus; Creating Magickal Entities: A Complete Guide to Entity Creation by David Michael Cunningham, Taylor Ellwood, and T Amanda R Wagener; and Magickal Servitors: Create Your Own Spirits To Attract Pleasure, Power and Prosperity by Damon Brand.
Plenty of reading left for me to do on this subject.

Brand Strategy for Designers
Tumblr media
In the dynamic world of design, a powerful brand strategy for designers is the key to creating memorable and impactful visuals that resonate with the audience. Designers play a crucial role in shaping a brand's identity, and understanding the fundamentals of branding digital agency is essential for delivering designs that not only look good but also communicate effectively. Let's delve into the comprehensive realm of brand strategy, exploring key concepts and providing insights for designers to elevate their work.
1. Understanding Brand Strategy
At its core, brand strategy is a long-term plan that outlines specific goals and objectives for building a brand's identity. It involves defining the brand's purpose, values, and unique selling propositions. Designers need to grasp the essence of the brand they are working with, understanding its personality and positioning within the market. This knowledge forms the foundation upon which all design decisions are made.
2. Brand Identity and Visual Elements
Brand identity encompasses more than just a logo; it includes the overall visual elements that represent the brand. Designers must consider the color palette, typography, imagery, and other visual elements that contribute to a cohesive and recognizable brand image. Consistency across all these elements is crucial for brand recall and establishing a strong visual identity in the minds of the audience.
Tumblr media
3. Audience Research
Effective brand strategy hinges on a deep understanding of the target audience. Designers should conduct thorough research to identify the demographics, preferences, and behaviors of the audience. This knowledge allows designers to create designs that resonate with the target market, fostering a connection between the brand and its consumers.
4. Competitive Analysis
A competitive analysis helps designers identify what sets a brand apart from its competitors. By understanding the strengths and weaknesses of other players in the market, designers can create visuals that highlight the brand's unique selling points. This differentiation is critical for standing out in a crowded marketplace.
5. Consistency Across Platforms
In today's multi-channel world, brand consistency is more challenging yet more crucial than ever. Whether it's a website, social media, print collateral, or physical spaces, the brand's visual identity must remain consistent. Designers play a pivotal role in ensuring that the brand's design elements are adapted seamlessly across various platforms, maintaining a cohesive brand experience for the audience.
6. Emotional Connection
Great design goes beyond aesthetics; it evokes emotions. Designers should strive to create visuals that resonate emotionally with the audience, forging a deeper connection between the brand and its consumers. This emotional connection is what transforms a brand from a mere product or service into a memorable and meaningful part of a customer's life.
7. Flexibility and Adaptability
As markets evolve, so should brands. Designers need to create designs that are not only visually appealing but also flexible enough to adapt to changing trends and consumer preferences. A brand strategy for printing should allow for evolution while retaining the core elements that make the brand recognizable.
8. Storytelling through Design
Designers are storytellers, and every brand has a unique story waiting to be told. Whether it's the brand's origin, values, or mission, incorporating storytelling elements into design adds depth and authenticity. Visual storytelling engages the audience on a personal level, creating a memorable brand experience.
Tumblr media
9. Measuring Success
Metrics are essential for evaluating the success of a brand strategy. Designers should collaborate with marketers to define key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the effectiveness of design in achieving brand goals. This data-driven approach helps refine future design decisions and ensures alignment with the overarching branding digital agency.
Conclusion
In conclusion, a well-crafted branding digital agency is the guiding force behind impactful design. Designers armed with a deep understanding of the brand, its audience, and the market landscape can create visuals that not only look stunning but also contribute to the brand's overall success. By embracing the holistic nature of brand strategy, designers become integral partners in shaping a brand's identity and ensuring its lasting impact in the hearts and minds of consumers.
